Saltatio Lucis is an independent design practice founded by Aleksandra Lebedeva in Dublin, Ireland. Rather than operating as a traditional studio, the practice functions as an individual creative framework focused on communication design, UX/UI systems, web experiences, and visual storytelling. Working across both digital and visual disciplines, my practice combines research-driven thinking with atmospheric and interaction-focused design to develop distinctive solutions shaped by user needs, clarity, and emotional engagement.

Saltatio Lucis, meaning “The Dance of Light”, was created from an interest in how colour, motion, atmosphere, and interaction shape human experience within digital environments. The brand emerged from a desire to move beyond purely functional design and explore how visual systems can influence emotion, perception, and connection while still remaining clear and purposeful.
Inspired by the relationship between light and movement, Saltatio Lucis approaches design as a living system rather than a static composition. Every project develops through research, experimentation, and user-centred thinking, transforming an initial brief into a distinctive visual experience that responds to both practical needs and emotional engagement.
The brand reflects a balance between structure and expression — combining strategic design thinking with immersive visual identity systems to help brands communicate to their target audience with clarity while standing apart in increasingly saturated digital spaces.
